Milford Food 2 Kids & Students from Harborside Middle School will host a HUNGER 101 event.

CT Food Bank facilitates this opportunity to better understand the struggle with hunger and food insecurity, and how to help.

Hunger 101 participants walk in someone else's shoes and see firsthand what it's like to struggle with poverty and food insecurity in Connecticut. Hunger 101 captures the daily stress of hunger as you learn how to feed a family for a day with no or limited resources.

Program is ideal for ages 12 and up. Great opportunity for those serving in Food Resource programs and/ministries, or for those who work with individuals who are hungry or food insecure. We recommend that you bring a partner from your setting.

Questions: Contact Ashley Grant through Milfordfood2kids@gmail.com or speak with Mrs. Stoltenberg at estoltenberg@milforded.org.
